Welcome to Rainbow Montessori!
We are located in the beautiful McCoppin Square Park in the Parkside District of San Francisco. Surrounded by trees, grass and a outdoor playground, our school gives the urban child an unusual opportunity to work and play in a setting of natural beauty. We also have the Parkside Library located in our park.
Our mission is to provide a full curriculum of Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy and principles of education for children ages 2.9 to 5.9. to inspire a passion for excellence for each child; to nurture curiosity, creativity, and imagination; and to awaken the inner spirit. We emphasize learning with respect for all people and cultures. Teaching inner peace and personal fulfillment; we strive to create a carefully prepared environment so that our children will freely interact and grow in peaceful harmony with their friends, family and society.
McCoppin Square Park was completely renovated in 2011 giving us two new playgrounds for outdoor play time and a beautiful new library that we use for weekly visits and curriculum support.
