We are located in the beautiful McCoppin Square Park in the Parkside District of San Francisco. Surrounded by trees, grass and a outdoor playground, our school gives the urban child an unusual opportunity to work and play in a setting of natural beauty. We also have the Parkside Library located in our park.

Our mission is to provide a full curriculum of Dr. Maria Montessori's philosophy and principles of education for children ages 2.9 to 5.9. to inspire a passion for excellence for each child; to nurture curiosity, creativity, and imagination; and to awaken the inner spirit. We emphasize learning with respect for all people and cultures. Teaching inner peace and personal fulfillment; we strive to create a carefully prepared environment so that our children will freely interact and grow in peaceful harmony with their friends, family and society.

A Note from the RMSF Director

Rainbow Montessori of San Francisco is located in the McCoppin Square Park in the heart of the Parkside District of San Francisco.

The park was approved by the voters in 2008 a General Bond of $5.3 million to improve and revitalize the park the school resides in to create a cleaner and safer park. What this means is: park trails, forestry, play fields, tennis court and playground will all be improved. Construction began in September 2010 and will be completed by July 2011. All the park will have lighting and be ADA approved.

We are very excited to learn we will have two playgrounds to choose from as well as a beautiful grass garden for the children to have picnics and play soccer in.
